Read this to! Very interesting to hear, especially as Dan Pinchbeck had specifically mentioned the village scene as a sign of notgames in AAA games.

Yes, we talked at Game City, both on stage and off. He's a very nice person, sometimes annoyingly so Wink . We connected quite seriously on our interest in videogames as a medium (he himself stressed the distinction between "games" and "videogames"). It's nice to see designers in the mainstream industry with this interest. Because on the indie games scene, it's a rather poor affair.

I criticized all the stupid shooting in Uncharted a bit, but he insisted that Uncharted 3 had a lot less of it. So I reserved my judgment until I play that game.
