Nice. Good to see you move and hear you talk. Smiley

Hope you solve the coding problem!

Nice painting in the background. Smiley

Thank you! Smiley That painting is a work in progress. I started it last summer but I haven't gotten back to it.

Unity is a solid choice. But if you really want visual scripting, take a look at 3DVIA Studio*

*Be aware that they don't allow standalone publishing while they are still in Beta Sad

Is that what Virtools turned into?

Correct Smiley 3DVIA Studio was previously known as Virtools MP.

That is like $7000 USD. I'd laugh if I wasn't choking. I don't have money.

That's progress. Virtools used to be so expensive that they couldn't tell you how much it costs.  Cheesy
And I believe you owed them royalties on each copy sold, too.

Huh

No price has been announced yet .. and the Beta version is free. Anyway, Unity is a solid choice Wink

I'm in the process of figuring out the workflow from Blender to Unity. Mainly because of Blender's clunkiness and iffy Collada export. I know Unity can import blend files directly but the results can be pretty messy so I'm attempting to save out the individual assets. Plus the Blender FBX import that Unity uses likes to randomly crash. I works sometimes but crashes mostly. It doesn't help that I didn't know what I was doing when I made the original files so they are pretty messy as well.

Michaël: maybe you could create a forum for technical stuff. I know other forums have that but they can be pretty useless, especially if all you get is Asperger-esque (I have Asperger's Syndrom btw) and snotty replies. It would be nice to have a place to discuss and have questions and answers about technical stuff, especially since some of the posters here have released a number of professional games.

Good idea for a technical blog!

Meanwhile, I'd highly recommend using Unity's native support of the Blender format. It's really very convenient! I'd suggest you clean up your Blender file(s) so that they're easier to deal with in Unity.
