Hi,
My name is Andrew Hogue. I'm an assistant professor of Game Development at the University of Ontario Institute of technology near Toronto Canada. By trade/research, I am a programmer interested in computer vision and robotics yet I have recently found an interest in game design and am particularly interested and passionate about games that are not just intended for entertainment (especially after playing any of Tale of Tales games). I found the Graveyard and The Path to be transformative in my own opinion on interactive media and would love to help out in any way possible in developing ideas/designs/implementations of interactive experiences that matter and can influence a person emotionally and intellectually.

Great! Welcome. Thanks.
Do you think your students could be of some use in this project?

Hi, I'm hoping that I get the point across to my students that videogames are not just about hacking and slashing but can be meaningful both in terms of interactivity and emotion. In the next few weeks, I will be discussing their design project with them and possible themes they may wish to look at. NotGames will certainly be a part of the course in some manner. It should lead to some interesting discussions for sure.
