Hurrah. Well done Dan et al. I'm hoping to find some time to play this in the next week or so.

Interestingly (for me at least) one of my friends, who I don't think really follows indie games, out of the blue mentioned Dear Esther a few days ago. That and the high sales makes me think that it has permeated the mainstream to some extent.

This is great news!

But just to add a little perspective: profitable here means that Indie Fund got its money back. I don't think this sum would cover the wages that all the people involved should have received if they were not driven by love. Anyway, I have no doubt that this amount will also be reached, if it hasn't already.

So now, making art games is profitable? What a strange world we live in. Cheesy
