Thank you very much ghostwheel:)

I like the transition that way, it shows that there's an impact to making choices.

Hi

I just release my new game, The Story of a World today on iOS. It's an update on my entry for the 23:rd Ludum Dare, and it is based on the themes I like to make games about, exploration and choices. You can view it at http://www.jm-j.com/storyworld

On another note, if you want to create games in an effortless way, you should check out Multimedia Fusion. No programming needed.

Better late than never I realized I might as well post my entry to the 23:rd Ludum Dare, since it in many ways is a notgame. The theme was Tiny World, and the game follows other themes that I enjoy exploring, most significantly exploration and creating ambience.

My game Star Sky (released earlier this year) har been ported to iOS and is out now!

It really fits well, aesthetically, on the iPhone and iPad, and it will be interesting to see if gamers can enjoy it in that format, since it differs quite much from what is normally played on it.

I've also "finished" Kometen, and wouldn't simply finding the artworks (which is, if you're looking for such a thing, the point of the game) be achievements enough? I don't think having finding the artworks being achievements would detract from the overall experience at all.

Well I strongly disagree. A website like Donnie Darko, or what Michaël posted, i feel is just as much art as a "traditional" art-game. And I would rather compare them to a regular flash games in terms of usability and interactivity, only not limited to a 600x400 window.

Wow, that looks great!

You say used to be, don't you think the web still have things to offer in regards to interactive art or entertainment?

I've always found this wesite extremely fascinating. I loved the movie and this website, thats kinda of a game but not quite, is just so surrealisticly delicious.

I think a bigger game that's made in this kind of fashion could be really interesting.

Worth trying, is what you're saying?

I second that.

Oh yes, that is my full intention, I know you can succeed quite well. I'm just not in a position to do it right now, having no way to support myself while developing games.

Thanks alot, that's pretty much what I was going for:)

I do want to make more, and of course I have loads of ideas of things you could, and how to improve and polish things etc etc. But as you say, one has to move on, otherwise I would just be sitting there updating it endlessly. Better to take the ideas to a new game. If I can make more depends solely on how my life turns out over the next few months. I'm taking my bachelor degree in game development - sound design in a month, and have to look for a job. I would prefer to be able to sit down and just make games out of my ideas, but as everyone probably know, it's all about the money. Gotta pay rent and eat food, unfortunately.

Hmm, yes, animation is my Akilles heel. I actually just got a mail from someone saying the same thing, so I've spent the morning trying to fix it. I've uploaded the updated file to FastSpring, you should be able to just re-download it.
